The Doctor: River, you and I, we know what this means. We are ground zero of an explosion that will engulf all reality. Billions and billions will suffer and die.
River: I’ll suffer if I have to kill you.
The Doctor: More than every living thing in the universe?!
River: Yes.

River: Why would you do that? Make me watch?
The Doctor: So that you know this is inevitable. And you are forgiven. Always and completely forgiven.

Doctor Who | AU
River Song as the VillainAs I look down the barrel of her gun, I can’t help but look back and admire her acting skills. All she did, to get me to trust her, was just to be sure I got here, right here, under her aim. All she did was all she could to fulfill her mission.
She’s a great actress, I think, and I’m resigned. I’ve been foolish.
“River Song,” I say. “The woman who kills the Doctor.”
“Yes, sweetie.”
I never thought she would be my downfall. Then she fires, and everything goes black.

River, please.

I’m all yours, sweetie.

Who are you?

Who are you?

Hello, Sweetie.
River! You defaced a holy city.
You wouldn’t answer your phone.

![“I think he [the Doctor] is capable of loving people, but I think, he is an alien, you know. He doesn’t see love in the conventional way that we might see it on earth- in marriage and settling down and finding one person to share your life with. I think he’s more- he sort of has a more healthy relationship to it. He moves on. He loves people and he leaves them behind and then he goes and finds someone else and he loves them and leaves them behind. And he’s looking for companionship not, you know, human desire, as we know it.” -Matt Smith, Eleventh Doctor](http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lv3nyexgxJ1qaucrdo1_r3_500.gif)
